I am pretty tame when it comes to anime. I’m definately more driven by story than action. I admit that cute characters are a big draw for me too. I don’t have much experience with anime, I’ve probably only seen about 15 series so far, and this is one of them…

Negima is the story of a 10 year old boy who is in charge of teaching English to a class of teenage girls. He isn’t like most 10 year old boys. Outside of his superior intellect, he is also a Wizard. Without giving too much away, I’d say that if you enjoy cute, girly anime, you’ll probably get at least a chuckle out of Negima!.

Sex And The City: The Movie

This weekend I bought the Sex And The City movie, thinking that because I really enjoyed the series, that I would also really enjoy the movie. I was right. It was nice because they really seemed to stick to the charactor’s traits from the series, and the storyline didn’t stray that far away from what the series touched on. I was, however, almost shocked because there was just as much nudity in the movie as the series. I don’t know why this shocked me (I’m no where near being a prude!), but somehow it did. Mainly what shocked me, and SPOILER ALERT… they showed a bunch of pubes sticking out of the bottom of Miranda’s bathing suit. The rest of the nudity and subject matter was no more baudy than what was in the original HBO cut of the show.

I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the HBO series, and to those who enjoy the cable cut who are aware of the nudity and language in the original.

I didn’t get the version that had all the extras on it that Target was offering. I am not big on bonus features, so I just got the original version.
